    WoW Lawyer For Hire!

If anyone read my previous thread, then you know that I am obsessed with the World of Warcraft Customer Service forums. I am well-read on the EULA and ToU, and pretty much know every single thing that has to do with Blizzard policy on anything. You could actually call me a "Blizzard lawyer."

Since the users of this message board are obviously interested in scamming, exploiting, exploring, it may be helpful to have someone like me around.

Think of it like the mafia. The mafia always has at least one good lawyer to help them out and make sure they're never convicted of anything.

Let's say you're planning to break some rules. You want to know the best way to do this with the lowest chance of getting caught and suspended/banned. I could certainly help you with something like this.

Let's say you get banned for powerleveling. You want your account back and want to appeal the ban. In real life, appealing things is much easier when you have a
lawyer at your side. I could tell you the exact story you should give, and what details to use.

    An example:

"I was on the World of Warcraft forums, in the Druid forum, and I was looking at a thread. One of the posts in the thread was 'breaking news look here' with a link under it. I was a bit interested so I clicked the link. The page didn't really load or something, so I went back to the thread. Someone said the link was a keylogger. I heard about those and got scared. I saw the post got deleted after about 20 minutes. Unfortunately, my dad told me to get off the computer and go to bed. When I woke up, I kind of forgot about the whole thing and played a little WoW before school. When I came back from school, I tried to log in but it told me the password was invalid. I retrieved the password with my secret question and answer and logged in. A few days later it said I was banned and I got your e-mail. I got hacked, and I didn't hire anyone to use the account."

If the powerleveler you used was using proxies, or if it isn't a common powerleveler, Blizzard may not have recognized it as a common powerleveling IP. They just saw a foreign IP and banned you.

Now, the issue with this example is if the powerleveler actually leveled you. There are a lot of people who actually do hack accounts and then think the account is permanently theirs and will level/farm gold on it for a gold selling business. That's pretty much what Blizzard will have to guess what happened. Sometimes, people do genuinely get hacked and the char gets used as a farmer, and they get banned. Just because it looks so suspicious, and because there's no way for Blizzard to tell exactly what happened, they usually just uphold the ban.

So, what I'm saying is that no way am I promising that you will get your bans overturned if you get help from me. I am saying that you probably will get a higher chance of receiving an overturned ban, though, if you explain to me the situation and let me help you with a fake story.

And I'm not just good at faking stories. Seek my advice if you have any question on:

    -How Blizzard bans.
    -Why Blizzard bans.
-How the penalty volcano works in detail.
-How final warnings work in detail.
    -If something is potentially bannable.
-If something that is potentially bannable could possibly be done with a lower chance of getting banned.
    -How Warden works.
    -What Warden can do/see.
-Anything to do with World of Warcraft policy.

This is a completely free service I'm providing. I expect nothing from anyone.

The only thing I ask for is that I can only really help people who speak fluent English. I know most people here are European, and I'm American. Blizzard policy is identical for all game versions (US, EU, CN, etc.) and all policy is interpreted the same way. I'm just saying that if you have trouble speaking English, I may not fully understand you and I may not be able to help you.

If you'd like to use me as a "lawyer", either respond to this post, send me a PM, or send me an IM on AIM. My AIM screenname is TheWoWLawyer.

Is it possible to, say, disenchant two soulbound epic axes, tell blizzard you were really tired, and disenchanted the wrong items; and get them back BoE?

I prefer to deal business through AIM, but it can't hurt to post here. =p

Blizzard's Restoration policy depends entirely on situations. Generally, the basic rule is that if you delete/disenchant something you didn't mean to delete/disenchant, and report it within a timely fashion, it will be restored. Restorations are never guaranteed, but I'd say 90% of the time, if you disenchant the wrong items and send in a ticket within 24 hours, you will get your items back.

More info on Item Restoration policy can be found here, though:

Will you first get a warning if you get cought afk botting in AV?

How do they find me if i were using a bot? reported by others or detected through some kind of program?

Technically, any sort of automated movement can constitute account action.

Making a contraption that presses the spacebar in intervals is considered against the rules.

If reported for AFK botting, and you jump in intervals to prevent yourself from being AFK, and a GM attempts to talk to you for a fairly long period of time and you never respond, you will receive some sort of account action. Generally, this would be between a 24-78 hour ban for a first offense.

They CAN detect AFK botting software, too. Most AFK software is pretty undetectable by warden, but some are detectable.

You can still get suspended pretty easily just by not responding to a GM, though.

Gotten a surprisingly high amount of people. I'm surprised no one has done anything like this before.

I had no idea that so many people were truly in the dark about how Blizzard acts.
