Former transmog glitch question
Hello, looking for anyone who's used the former transmog glitch (item dropping in dungeon/raid, xmogging, and trading back) and spoke with a GM in an attempt to get the actual item itself. I've heard stories of people who (i suppose when lucky enough) were able to have a GM "restore" the transmog item itself, even though they never had it to begin with. I know that it's been done, but what I'm curious about is has it ever gone bad? Has a GM ever recognized that you're lying / abused the xmog glitch and actually removed your xmog glitch as punishment? I've been tempted to make a ticket to try this myself, but i'm paranoid they'll remove my glitch mog

Anything is a possibility depending on the GM you get. I imagine they would just tell you no and not investigate further unless you did something stupid like mention the glitch specifically. Consecutive tickets won't usually help if the first one says no, because a second GM will see the first's response. Assuming you're Interested in attempting this with a Corrupted Ashbringer, you might want to test this on a spare account with a weapon appearance that isn't valuable first.
