In my opinion, I wouldn't do anything to the acct. Just let it sit and let the time expire. Hell, you never know when you'll just wanna hop on your guy and run around Org, or whatever. A friend of mine deleted his main that he created the day WoW came out. He still regrets doing so.

Well my time has already expired, I'm sick of the game now and I never want to come back and if I do want to come back, I don't have the possibility to get on my account again.

If he just deleted his character he can easily get it back by writing to a GM and say you want your character restored.. If he banned his account, I feel sorry for him

And loveshock, I really don't want anyone else using my character. I had this character since the beginning of WoW and I don't want my friends seeing someone else running around with my orc. I'm sorry if I dissapoint you but that's just my view on it.

Make money off of it for at least a week, then if you REALLY don't want your account (Hell, I'm renting my account right now and I don't plan to play this game again. Make a Macro that just has all the lines filled up with vulgar things.
