Unban appeal tips?

So I was banned on Monday for exploiting a random game bug resulting in a ton of artifact power. I'm fairly sure someone in my guild reported me. There were several of us who were banned, no discussion happened about the bug in the game.

I appealed right away saying that the length of the ban was disproportional to the offense. Got the usual response that nothing would be overturned.

Just looking for any possible tips to getting this overturned.

I should also note that each persons ban was proportional to the amount of times they looted/used the object. In my case it was somewhere around 4k times.. resulting in 6 month ban. Some only did it for a few minutes got 3 weeks - 1 month.

Also before anyone pm's about the bug itself.. it was not something that could be recreated as some friends did attempt to do so.

Truth be told at this point appeals have a coin flip's chance of success.. Blizzard doesn't seem willing to spend much time & trouble on appeals.. Always the "we've confirmed our original findings to be true"
