Mind control hack or bug

I was in arena, and I came across a resto druid, disc priest and sub rogue, and the healer of ours was mind controlled in dalaran sewers. The priest ran our healer (paladin) to the edge of the top level, and our palladin instantly died. We checked his combat log and it said, you took 480k fall damage.

Can anyone explain this?

It's a hack. Mind control someone, send modified fall_land packet -> win.
