WoD dbcs?

Hellooo, just joined. Hi.
I'll get right to it.
On every client I've had before, I was able to extract the itemdisplayinfo.dbc and read it to find hidden items by their texture or model names.
Now I'm a bit put off with the WoD client, as itemdisplayinfo seems to have disappeared or been converted or what-not.
Is it possible for someone to guide me through some kind of functionality similar to what was before? I need to be able to find displayids by their texture/model name.

Similarly, before WoD, I had creaturedisplayinfo.dbc through which i could easily find the creature displayids I wanted, that seems to be gone or converted as well.

What I need is basically to be pointed at the files in which item display info and creature display info are stored now, preferably a program with which to view them if they are a new file type, or something to convert them to a readable file type. An optional thing I'd like but don't really need per se, is a guide to change the new item display info file to add more ids.

I don't exactly know how this forum works, and this is only for my personal use, but I hope you can help me. Thanks for reading.

But how are db2s read? i've tried to open them with some db2 readers and they look nothing like the old dbcs, i can't see the names of the textures or models in itemdisplayinfo.db2 for instance. could you elaborate?

Because they changed it and now dbc usualy have just index to FileData/TextureFileData file. More here ItemDisplayInfo.dbc - WoWDev
