Acc banned
Hey everyone.
My lovely main account was banned almost a year ago, i used some profession hack that i found on this forum - not that it matters. Now i' curious, is there ANY way to get my account unbanned? I sent a few tickets to Blizzard during the days after the ban (Blizzard kept sending automated messages back), and people told me it was better to wait a few months? Now i'm pretty sure it's almost a year ago. The account is priceless to me. Any suggestions are welcome
Thank you.

There is no way to get it 100% back, but there are some possible steps you can follow:
First: There are quite some people here who offer unban service. They don't have a 100% sucessrate, but they will offer you prewritten letters, specific for your case, which you can sent to blizzard in order to get your account unbanned. (You have to pay them upfront)
Second: There are so many written letters, flying around in the internet, and you could try to sent one to blizzard by yourself. The people offering a service, are no "gods", they just use their brain properly. If you think you can do that too, try it. But be aware, you only have one try. You can't tell them "I think I got hacked" and in the next letter you tell them "i didn't knew it was a hack"
Third: I don't know if you're a 15 year old kid or maybe a 40 year old guy with a job, but I think the best possibilty to get your account back is with a lawyer. I personally think, that getting a lawyer is way to extreme in such a simple case and exactly that might be your chance. You hacked, nothing can prevent that, not even after a year. There is no reason for blizzard to unban you.

What would a lawyer be able to do? You broke the ToS. A lawyer won't be able to do anything.

No they have no reason to unban me. But i don't even understand why i didn't get a 72hr ban first, at least a warning would be appropriate. The account was never banned before + it's a 9 year old account, you would think that Blizzard cared about that. But no mercy lol.

Most likely from botting. Profession hacking is a much bigger offense than botting is. iirc Almost everyone who used it got a perma ban. I would definitely send Seph a message and see if he can get you unbanned. His prices aren't bad especially if you've had the account for 9 years.

What a lawyer will do? If I would know it, I would be a lawyer and if I would be a lawyer, you would have to pay me 200$ for my answer.
The lawyer does not care about anything you have done wrong, they try defend you.
Let's make an example:
- You use honorbuddy, you bot 20000 ore, you level your profession with WoD-mechanics to 700, and make extra 500k gold. You get banned 6 months.
- You use a hack, which was basically a macro ingame, to push your profession a little? You get permaban.
I don't see any equal treatment. Maybe it does not matter. Maybe it does, since both users have had THE SAME contract with blizzard, so both derserve the same threatment. Maybe they don't?
This is all about law stuff, not my business, but as I said, a lawyer, dealing properly with your case, can find SO MUCH in order to defend you. He could create a 10-page-letter, filled with accusations towards blizzard claiming they didn't act how they should.

A lawyer won't be able to do anything. You are renting the account from blizzard. You do not own it. You signed this tos when you logged in for the first time.

To continue on what Dovah said, You signed the Terms of Service which states that Blizzard can suspend your account (no questions asked)

You seem to be forgetting that Blizzard is under no obligation to show proof of anything. We all agree that Blizzard Entertainment can close their accounts for any reason or no reason at all when accepting the legal documents presented before we start playing.
The account you think you "own" you are actually borrowing from Blizzard and paying them a fee to be able to play it. Even tho you created the account you do not own it. Everything created within Blizzard Entertainment is their property and they can close any account they like without any reason. They do however give reasons to make people understand why the account they are playing got closed. But are under no obligation to do so.
By all means, file a lawsuit, and watch with dismay as your lawyer declines your business after reading the ToS.
