Best 2 man leveling Class combo

I want to level with a friend and these are the requirements.

None of us will be a Rogue, Warrior, Warlock.
My friend will only be a blood elf , and must be a healer.
(So basically limited to priest or paladin)

And I do not want to be a priest or a paladin. so that means I can only be Mage, Hunter, Shaman , or Druid.

The reason I do not want to be certain classes is because I have already experienced them and would like to try new classes.

Priest/Hunter.

Priests are good healers to start off, and Paladins aren't any good until you get more geared. Hunter's can DPS while their pet tanks. 3 for the price of 2 eh? Priest/Hunter combo gives you:
Tank - Pet
DPS - Hunter
Heals - Priest

I think mage is better than hunter because you can aoe grind.
And you can max dps. If you maxdps with hunter than the mobs will come close to you and even with all those heals you cant do anything because they are too close.

I assure you if the hunter is Beast Mastery, you wont pull aggro. You will do decent damage and have a tank to boot.

Druid / Paladin is a good combo

Paladin : Heals
Druid : Tanks in Bear till 20 then uses Cat and dps down fast

Druid in feral form has the ability to DPS and tank. Paladin when specced retribution while also focusing on picking up healing gear can both heal and do single target DPS just as well.

I would also approve on the druid pally combo. but if you want maximum damage and dont care about tanking, mage and paladin or better yet, mage and priest (with the hots) if you cant freeze, you can take em down real quick, and if your friends good at healing you should be able to take the mob down pretty quick. although thats a fairly risky approach

Idk i want a fun class and mages seem pretty fun. Plus Ive already played a rogue (druids imitate) and my friend is a tank which i could play at any time...
So maybe I will choose mage any pros that make others fun though?

For speed, priest and mage that's what me n my partner are, though we really benefit from sitting next to each other so communication is simple - 'see those 10 furblogs? Im gonna kill all of them.... don't let me die!!'

We also levelled a Hunter and druid together and the comments above are true - If you go BM with a hunter you will be pretty much unstoppable with minimal down time. Problem with rolling a hunter is you will find it quite hard to get groups at higher levels, as a rule of thumb there are many hunters out there and because they are easy to level alot of noobs make it to 70 giving them a bad name (apologies for generalising, I know there are some fantastic hunters out there)

I do think 2 mages would be very interesting, both specc'd frost the AOE grind would be amazing.....
