Well seems it was Fake after all then knowing it's tuesday..
It's always promises and promises
but in the end it was a lie.
I knew it all along. I know lies, I used to do smack in the middle of class.
You ever believed someone on the net? If yes, you failed.
I didn't really trust him, but what what kept me looking and checking back at this page was the "hope" that maybe, just maybe, that there would be an alpha...
But my my hope was just pwned so.... Hellgawd should:gtfo2:
That made me die a little inside, TheDipper.
My screenshot thread is inactive until further notice.
Well if he said he was going to post it 2 weeks ago, and there has been no posts by him in this topic since then, I'm pretty sure that if he did have anything at all, it was fake.
Delicious copypasta from emupedia:
What I know:
-There is a Alpha client, but it is not called Alpha. The current project name/build is Yeti. (I assume this is because of the cold or something stupid like that) - Correction listed below
-The dev team working on WotlK is codenamed: Yeti "team"
-The actual project name is Iceburg
-There is only a handful of people that have it, as it regquires the MPQ files from 2.5 (Yes there will be a 2.5, 2.4 will be the last patch before the expansion, but it will work like BC did with the minor patch to allow realms to accept the new client as well as update minor keys for opening information)
-There is a new engine and it has been rumored (From what I was told) that they may be delay WoTLK for the DX10 patch in SP1 for Vista. The new DX engine is also backwards compatabile with DX9 which 70+% of the WoW community uses for the graphics.) Those using OPENGL good luck, as I hear they have issues with it right now.
-The beta site is up.
The URL which is still an INTERNAL URL and without a key you are redirected is:
http://wrath.worldofwarcraft.com
alternatly you can access the Alpha site, by using your login method on:
http://test.worldofwarcraft.com (Site has been blocked and unless you know the trailing URL you will not be able to login. I will not reveal the URL unless I approach you. *Bloody and FalconX when i return home I will make sure you get the correct URL)
-The "Alpha" or the Yeti build is only running on internal compilers right now, however the Alpha is going to start on November 22nd, (thanksgiving) as a thanks to Friends and Family. Players who were part of the Beta for Burning Crusade will be at the top of the list for Beta invites as I am being told.
-Wrath of the Lich King is still fighting a pending patent and will not reach beta until the Patent and Copyright is finalized.
You do know eejet is Irish for idiot ^^
Where's your GM now?
i wish a was a friend of someone that worked for wow![]()
