Farming for WoW Tokens?

Hey guys,

I've stopped playing WoW at the end of MoP, but now I'm thinking about rejoining as I've seen this token system. My question is, how much of a hussle is farming that ~30k gold for a token, and then do what you wanna do in the game. In other words, can I turn WoW into a F2P game by farming, or is it too time consuming?

If you have a garrison you mine, gather herbs everyday and have work orders queued up for leathers and/or crystals. You can get that 30k with not much effort.
Your regular gaming sessions should be able to pay for itself.
An hour a day for a main and an alt garrison work should suffice. This leaves you plenty of time for raids, pvp and whatever else you enjoy in WoW.

I was gonna say, 2 days of farming gold, for the rest of the month free... but your answer is probably more appealing.

Another way that I personally use is farming old content, such as level 85 heroic raids (25m). It will get me about 10k for about 2 hours of work, which isn't too bad. And that's only on one character. If I would go with more characters it would probably be the double amount, and so on. And that's an easy ~15k/week without any real effort.
I personally like doing content more than just sit in my garrison play and play with the AH :P
