Confused as heck.

Hey guys, first post here, but I've been a reader of the site for quite some time. I have a question that I hope you guys can help me figure out just what the actual hell just happened to me. I unfortunately do not have any screenshots/recordings or damage meters as the game locked up and kicked me and I don't even have my damage meter installed yet.

I main a Destruction lock and was running old 25 man Cata raids for fun and profit. When I came across the dragons "Theralion and Valiona" in Bastion of twilight.

I waited around til they were both on the ground and popped havoc + Dark Soul + Cataclysm on both of them.

The damage that got returned was all 9's across the board in a fairly large amount. I.E. 999999999999. At first I thought it was several of them stacked on top of each other. Like sometimes when you AOE a mob and you'll see some outrageous number like 2349213485. But as soon as that number popped up the game froze, it hung for several seconds. Then I got DC'd.

After several attempts to log back in on different toons. It finally let me log back in about 45 minutes later.

When I logged in I was at the GY in Org (The Tauren Shaman Area) and the gold I accrued while in that dungeon had been removed along with a handful of purples and I'm locked to the raid saying I completed it. Even the bosses that follow the dragons which I didn't even down.

I put in a ticket, but with Blizz being the way they are nowadays and it being the holiday season I can pretty much not expect an answer anytime soon.

Only Buffs I was using was Dark Intent.
Using the standard Voidwalker as my minion just to group up the trash.

Other then that everything was super standard stuff.

lol seems logical.

I'm hoping I found the Konami code of WOW or something.

The weirdest part was being ported to Org though. I'm hearthed in Warspear so it wasn't like it dumped me back at the Hearth's GY or anything. It was almost like the game freaked out, had to run a check on my account to see if I was cheating. Decided that I was ok but took all my earnings and dumped me at a default GY.

Everyone I've talked too has never heard of that before, and because I didn't get a chance to screenshot it or record a history of it at all I'm basically just a crazy person shouting nonsense on the streets. I was just hoping someone on this forum had any knowledge about this and to see if it is indeed an exploit that could be beneficially game breaking.

could of just been a slight instance glitch.

Our guild has had it in the past where we down 1 boss and mass D/C of some sort and everyone got ported out back to shrine.
