Which Version of WOW & Initial Setup Structure

    Hi All,

This is my first post on the forum so apologies in advance for being a noob!

    Which Versions of WOW

I was looking at either the base version (just Azeroth) for $25 or the Battle Chest (inc The Burning Crusade and Wrath of the Lich King) for $30,
jump straight in to the battle chest?

    Account Structure

Setup 1 account first for my main and start levelling, I was going to start with 3 classes Druid/Hunter/Priest in the Horde faction or should I max
out 10 chars in different classes?

Will later setup a 2nd WOW account using 1 license of Honorbuddy and start to level it's chars.

    Computer Setup

My main account will run on my Surface Pro 2 (played) and my 2nd account (botted) will run on a separate tower PC under the same ip address.

    Any thoughts are appreciated...

    Which Versions of WOW:
Go as far into the game (expansion wise) as you can afford; the levelling process is generally a lot quicker than it used to be back in previous expansions due to the content being outdated and therefore the exp required to level nerfed significantly.
    Account Structure
Depends on what content you're in to. (PvE / PvP / Levelling)
I'd strongly advise trying to handle 3 classes at once if you're new to the game; if you're insistent on playing multiple roles, roll the druid or the paladin, and ignore the hunter. I'm unsure of why you'd make a second account when they're around £9/PM.
    Computer Setup
Stay well away from running Wow on a Surface Pro; the interface is vital on WoW and the resolution and screen size of the Surface Pro 2 will require you to increase the interface size.

Bear in mind these are my personal thoughts and will most likely differ from others.

    thanks for the reply Hazz!

    Versions of WOW

Good advice will now start with WOW Battlechest Original + TBC + WOTLK for $30 and WOW MOP for $15

    Account Structure

I will be setting up a 2nd account to bot farm gold later on.

    Computer Setup

I have the Surface Pro 2 on a dock with 2 24" Dell flat panels so will try it and see if it's terrible!

    Starting Classes

Will take your advice and just kickoff with 3 classes and see how I go, try to get all 3 to level 90s

What about Cataclysm? Doesn't battlechest include it? On Blizzard website I see only WoW (15 euro, $20 on US shop) and Pandaria (10 euro, $10 on US shop).

edit: found this on WoW purchase page: "Includes levels 1–85". So it does include Cataclysm. Then there is no question about version because there is only one that includes everything pre-Pandaria. The only question is why are you paying more for it?
