    question about wow packets

sorry I am not 100% sure what subforum to put it in so I just put it here.

I am currently playing on wow cataclysm on molten-wow server. I downloaded their client but a problem I am having is no matter what I try to do the client always downloads a crap load of files just seeing what they are named it seems like its preparation files for the MoP expansion and obviously I do not need those.

I looked in alot of files and there is this one
    WoW.mfil
seems to have 2 different patch server locations i found both those servers IP's and opend up a packet sniffer and my client is indeed communicating with both of them I am sending them a GET"random bullshitfaguselessmpqsidontneed.com" aside from those 2 servers its obviously communicating with molten server and one other I have no idea what it is for "5.153.32.91" maybe its blizzard spy server to see who is on private servers! lol.

I tried to make a filter in WPE pro to replace when I send a packet that starts with GET and replace it with 00 00 00 but that didn't seem to work.

any idea's how I can stop my client from using up crap loads of bandwidth with all this downloading. any ideas thanks.
