    Warlock or Mage? Also Hunters?

    So I'm going to make a new toon, and I'm definitely going with either Warlock or Mage, but I'm just not sure which one.

    I'm planning on playing PvP, and I already have the full heirloom set for either. Question is, what's better, and what are both of their advantages for PvP AND PvE?

    Also, what's the current stance on hunters? This is a question from my friend, just wants to know if they're still broken as **** in PvP.

    warlock

    you bring more utility to raids than mages and hunters and in pvp you have decent cc, also they're in general a lot of fun

    So for PvP you would suggest a warlock as well?

    Mage = burst damage
    Warlock = Sustained damage

    They're both equally good for PvP. Choose by whichever playstyle you prefer.

    @Hunter, they're good at below 2400 rating, but higher up when people know what to do, they start to get terrible. But still not a bad choice.

    Edit: Playing a Warlock do give a small benefit though. Warlocks have huge synergy with resto shamans, which basicly is the top pvp healer.
