Now we just need a more robust program so Curse no longer can milk the shit out of being the only source of info. That was a my main fear when Blizz mentioned the new file format and it seems I was correct in that fear.

I am working it. I have to sort of reverse the program here to figure out what its doing to understand what to look for. Right now its just dumping and checking but I am not sure what its checking.

Yea I understand it's a lot of work especially if you're working alone and don't have a team like Curse does.

is there ANYWAY of organizing the files? i just opned up data.022 and holy shit....all those files... so many .blp files. is there any way to know which is skin with out opening up every single file?

ok kool. i found out how to open all blps at once, so i should have a model swap up maybe by tomorrow.

made a .bat file in the blp to png converter directory that says...

@echo off
for %%i in (*.blp) do BLPConverter.exe "%%i"
pause

then moving the blp to png directory files to the folder where i extracted the .blp files and then i run the bat file. then i just flip through the pictures and try and find new model pics.

the only hard part now is extracting all the data files, then waiting for the bat file to convert all the .blps to pngs
