Buying gold method(Auction House)

Is the auction house method still the safest for buying gold? I used to sell 1-2k gold items and post them up for 20-30k and id take the 1-2k hit +5% fee aslong as its safe.
Is it still safe?

Nothing is 100% 'safe' and there are risks no matter how you move gold. Just play safe and transfer the gold which makes you comfortable.

I have face-to-face traded gold since Vanilla and never received a ban or had the gold removed.

Buying gold with auction house is very safe more than gbank or f2f from my experience

In this case, you can still easily say you just "missclicked" and put it there. Or the other mate who bought it. Theoretically, it's the safest method but keep in mind nothing is 100% safe.
If you are willing to pay the extra fees then it's your way to go.
