RAF - Hopefully a bit of a different question

Hey guys,

I'm moving states and will be without any PC or internet for two months and was going to try my hand at 5x account multiboxing when I get everything back.
I want to take advantage of the sales at the moment because its really cheap, but I haven't purchased WoW since Vanilla.

If I purchase the digital copies off the Blizzard store; do I get a key that I can use at a specific time or do I have to purchase the product on a battle.net account and have it "activated" straight away? Obviously this isn't ideal because by the time I get back RAF will be over.

Is there a way I can secure some copies of the game now to then activate them in a few months? Is the only way I could do this via hard copies?

Australia doesn't do black friday discounts to the extent that America does so hard copies aren't really discounted.

And you can use them anytime after. I recently used few battlechest keys purchased in some 2011 $5 promo (when they was Classis+TBC only) and they are just fine! Of course give me up-to-date Cata battlechest today .
Too bad I had few WOTLK and Cata upgrade codes which are not usable anymore :/
