i got scammed ingame some guy on skype asked if i wanted to buy the mount i said yes he showed me the card on cam.

i went into the game and traded him 450k he told me not to talk in game so i didnt....

then he logged off with my gold ....

will i get it back and will he be banned ?

there were NO chat logs in game

This is the most stupid thing ive read all day..Don't just give 450k to some random guy because he shown you a pic on skype, be more carful with gold like that hanging around..For him getting banned your best just making a ticket and seeing what they can do for you buddy.

It's not supported to buy codes for gold in WoW as it is considered as an exchange of in game gold for real world currency. You will most likely just get a warning from blizzard.

Is it possible to claim you were hacked since since you didn't speak at all? Might seem like you were hacked to blizzard, but I have no idea. Maybe someone knows.

imo, as i see it, you've got 2 options:
- you either claim you were hacked
- or (since you want to punish him) tell them you sold him gold lol
