    Question about selling gold

    Hi.

I'm planning to sell +1kk gold and i'm not sure if I should sell it to multiple gold buyers so i can avoid a big scam or just one, I want to sell it all in one day, I don't care about the account getting banned.

Also, will Paypal be a problem? Will they freeze the funds if i get a lot of it in one day?

    Thank you.

Paypal could freeze the account. They can legally steal anyone's money for at least up to 6 months (180 days) for any reason, mostly done by automated systems like more than $X00 received or being withdrawn on an account which hasn't previously received above $Y00 (and countless other factors influencing an AI of mediocre but complicated and secret programming).

The excuse is against chargebacks, but that is just an excuse, as it is often done whether or not the money comes from credit cards; paypal makes a little interest and profit from the stolen money in the meantime (which, over all such cases, added up to millions of bucks buried in their report to shareholders IIRC). See paypalsucks.com and other websites with some of the thousands of horror stories.

Someone once even did an experiment of sending various amounts of money to new paypal accounts, timing in how long in minutes or hours before they got limited (frozen), displaying the results: freezing is that common.

With that said, you might maybe reliably be able to get the money out from them after 6 months, if laws force them to hand it over in theory then, though I'm not sure on how well such goes in practice.

Also note anyone who isn't a large company with a solid reputation, who wants to pay you only by paypal and wouldn't accept other forms of transfer, is probably a scammer: Money in paypal isn't the same as real money, especially not for digital transactions, as the buyer can just click to do a dispute, and the automated system does a chargeback so you lose all the money.

There are some non-paypal forms of electronic currency transfer which aren't buyer fraud central, though, and those, along with a large-company established buyer, would be safest for keeping the money.
