What if you cancel credit card after buying wow prepaid timecard?

For example someone buys a physical prepaid wow timecard at best buy, pays for it with a credit card therefore activating the prepaid card and making it useable. 3 days after having used the code on the card to add game time the person cancels there credit card voiding the payment made for the prepaid card. After canceling the credit card will the gametime still be valid or would it have the possibility of being removed from the account it was applied to?

That's very bank dependent. You shouldn't be able to void payment in the first place, if you paid for it, you paid for it, how can you cancel the payment 3 days later?! And very best buy dependent, but I'm sure they have a mechanism to protect them from stuff like this.. You might get a bill (if you indeed reversed the payment), I don't think they'll ring up blizzard to tell them to remove your game card.

Was just wondering on the method since this is what some gametime sellers do they use a stolen credit card to buy prepaid cards then few days later the person who actually owns it cancels the credit card so just wanna know would it back fire on the buyer of the gametime card who bought it from the person who used the stolen credit card to buy it

if this is a credit card, then the charge will (eventually) get declined, and blizzard will remove the game time from you about a week later and put your account in limbo until you buy more game time. if this is a debit card, then the money will be removed automatically from your bank account and blizzard will have it, unless you cancel it before blizzard's payment servers are able to process the charge fully.

That would be fraud, as Shameless iX also mentioned, and we do not allow that on OwnedCore.
