WoD character boosting?

So i was wondering if anyone understands or knows anything about the free boost to 90.
Are it only for new players or is it all that get a free boost even trough i already got a lvl 90?

exactly, u buy the expansion and then u choose 1 of ur characters to be advanced to lvl 90.

meant as a catchup for old players so they can jump right in, but I suppose they also wanted to reward people who buy the expansion so people who's actually paying every month dont feel left out

The least-misleading version of the WoD character boosting announcement was when someone at Blizzard stated:

"You can technically buy as many level 90s as you want if you buy another copy of the game, get the level 90, and then transfer the character to your main account each time. The team has talked about putting a level 90 purchase option in the store, but it hasn't been decided yet."

There would be no ban risk in doing so if the accounts were registered to the same name. And it will be much cheaper than buying level 90s from third-party companies now. WoD is largely transforming WoW from a 90 level game into a 10 level (90 to 100) game, aside from whatever few still level a lowbie alt the whole way manually.
