How can I get my account back?

My account was stolen and sold on vBarrack using documents that were stored on my computer. I was able to remove the RAT that I must of installed at some point, but I really want to get back into wow. It's been around a month. I tried to recover the account, but vBarrack contacted me, and threatened me with legal issues. Is there a way I can get my account back, without vBarrack ever finding out?

They can't do anything legal against you. That's a risk they take by buying/selling digital goods. You can contact blizzard with your ID and sorts, get the account back through their linear process.

    vbarrack can't do shit

It's Blizzard's account technically. So they can try to sue you, but they would get nowhere. Send in your ID/etc stuff to Blizzard, and you'll get your account back.

they cannot sue what they legally do not own, even if purchased from some random person. Blizzard owns all accounts.

Nothing of the kind was ever said. We were simply basing our responses based off what the OP told us.

He said that vbarrack said they would sue him, so we told him that they couldn't, because they do not own the account in any way, shape, or form technically.

We're not siding with him by any means, or even "supporting a scammer", just stating facts.
