Selling Gold Safely from my Main Account (Kinda)

So, I have 150K gold on my main account which I'm trying to sell to a person I met over Ownedcore that is located in Australia. The gold is made on my main account, and I want to be SURE I can sell it without getting banned. To be sure I can cover all my bases, here is an overview of what my account is like, and what I'm planning on doing to sell it.

-My main account is on it's "Final Warning," as it got a 3 day ban for botting in December
-My main account has been open since BC, and is an Annual Pass holder
-I've never sold gold before

What I plan on doing to sell it, is I made a 2nd account and paid $10 for a battlechest (The account was made while a VPN was running.) What I plan on doing is run the 2nd WoW account through VMWare (Virtual Box) with a VPN, and trade my gold from my main account to my 2nd account, then trading the gold to the buyer, then deleting that character. Do you think that will ensure my main accounts safety? Is there anything I could do more to ensure the safety of my main account? Can you really ensure anything? xD

Again, thank you SO MUCH for your guys' help and support. I am somewhat new to the site, so if there is a great way to reward people who give great comments, tell me what to do (Sorry for being such a noob.)

just do it through a guild bank

Deposit into a guild bank - Don't go any higher than 20k at a time. Same goes for withdrawing
Example:
(20k,20k,20k,20k,20k,20k,20k,10k)

Just going by how most chinese resellers do it..they seem to have all the luck and knowledge in the world

Did you trade the gold all in 1 go? or in small amounts?

15k,10k,40k,20k,40k several transactions/person, one account was fresh activ 25.03 and 26.03 got banned. I don't think I was reported.

about 8 months ago i sold roughly 1.3 million in 1 day.
I just blatantly traded 5x 250k one after another from my main (active since bc) to my 2nd unmerged raf account not using vpn or anything.
Then i jus gave it to a lvl 1 in parts of 250k each payment.
never heard a thing about it from blizz.

my point is, if you know your account is not wurth it for blizzard to stay online, they wil bann you.

I have the same questions as OP, however I have been banned before doing the 20k deposit into gbank, then deleting the character right away. What I did was:

1. Main Account has character as Guild Leader of Guild Bank.
2. Invite level 1 character of Account B into Guild Bank.
3. Promote level 1 character to withdraw-enabled rank.
4. Level 1 character withdrew 20k.
5. Level 1 character left guild.
6. Gold buyer's guild bank invites Level 1 character.
7. Level 1 character deposits 20k gold into Gold buyer's guild bank.
8. I delete Level 1 character.

...Account containing level 1 character is banned the next day. Thankfully, nothing happened to my main account.
My main account was using my own IP, and the Level 1 character's account was through a VPN.

What did I do wrong, and what could I have done better? Why would my account get banned?

Any suggestions is greatly appreciated, thank you in advance!

What about this scheme:

1. Guild leader invites gold buyer into guild and allows him to withdraw exactly 20k by editing his rank permission
2. Buyer withdraws and leaves

Think they keep char data longer then before ,after you delete level one char one h after that, your guild bank logo says unknown,its not like that anymore,created acc 4-days ago 3-4 trades only via guild and acc banned.

ive sold roughly about 120-140k gold over the past week, in small doses of 20k per time, but never from my main account since i had it since bc and i dont want anything happening to it.. but i think it's just about luck really.. it also could have something to do with if you're selling to someone whos in a big company, or they're affiliated to a big company (they process orders from the company onto players, so they're a middle man), or it's just private buyers, as private buyers just could be a random player who you sold something to for a large amount sry for wall of text i got lost XD
edit: also big difference if you're on EU or US
