Requesting a bug or exploit for the Ebonlocke (green fire lock quest)

Hey, title says it all. I've literally spent 5k in repairs on the last boss for the green fire quest. Lowest attempt was 8%. I'm tired of this and i've watch all the videos but I just can't seem to pull it off. Does anyone know of a way to bug him or exploit him for an easy kill? Willing to trade stuff for info

I've was able to bug this quest by putting my gateway where he stands during the little intro scene with him saying your weak. It almost looked like he got stuck in it, and just stood there he never cast's anything or summon's anything but after a few mins I was unable to hit him as well. :/ It was very odd.

must be nice, i've tried everything well over 100+ wipes over 2 days.

What spec are you playing? Are you dumping threat onto your pet at the necessary times? Are you blowing up the Felhunters that spawn right away? Give some details of what problems you're having to start!

Back in PTR if you killed the pit lord instead of enslaving it it would cause the boss to bug out and not cast anything at all for the remainder of the fight, not sure if this still works however.
