Ban to use autoclick ?

I will ask you, if Blizzard can banned for using autoclick ? (to prospect a lot of ore).

Yes you can but if all you are doing is prospecting ore you should be fine. Where u get banned is like botting the ah, bg etc and you get banned from player reports. Not detection.

Banning for auto clicking is not "risky", however if you're doing no-no things like anti-afk auto clicking then yes, that's risky.

To make it even safer,some auto click programs have a random timer also,so all ur clicks are not exactly at lets say 1.0 sec,you could add a 0,5 random timer so all ur clicks are at 0.5-1.5sec

You can be (and you will be) banned based on character's logs, this ban is automated and reason is "goldselling". You shouldn't care if you use autoclicker just to prospect ores but don't use it for some serious automation that runs 24/7!

It may sound weird but "dangerous" stuff that injects into game's memory is safer than a mere autoclicker. One of my accounts was running lua unlocker for 5 months 24/7 to do some automation, then I've changed technology to autoclicker because I believed it to be safe...and was autobanned after 1 month for "abuse of economy". I immediately phoned to CS and was unbanned. Next week I was banned again (no unban this time) and I'm 100% sure that no one ever reported me. I guess this happened because autoclicker was spamming certain actions every second and lua unlocker made it possible to run them only when it's really needed.

Summary: you're safe if you use it for prospecting ores. But they have means to track it if you're running it for too long

As I mentioned before I stopped to use unlocker 1 month before I got banned first time. Then CS unbanned me but I got a new ban next week.

Clue here is that autoclicker spams buttons/macros/scripts/whatever while unlocker runs them only under certain conditions.

what lua unlocker is

it's a hack that allows you to execute scripts that are forbidden to run from macros/addons. Blizz can track only its injection (they actually fail to do it lol) and then you're safe to use it since they can't detect which action was done by you and which was unlocked.

I guess blizz detect autoclicker by looking at actions per minute value. If it's too high and actions were identical - then you're busted.
It's the same method they use to detect fishing bots - too much fish per month (my fishbot was banned exactly at 100k) and you get autobanned.

We need be careful to use autoclick or bots because Blizzard banned a lot of accounts in this couple week and they put some discount to rebuy one account ... It's a brilliant idea.
