Got scammed.. any action possible?

Hi guys, i got scammed by Mckentysi (forum user with little rep) when selling 340k wow gold, he sent payment as gift and after a week he fills claim saying payment not authorized.. what can i do? if i talk about virtual goods with paypal they will ignore me right?

Yep, Paypal does not support the selling of Digital / Intangible goods, so you're screwed. Best thing you could do is report your account hacked and attempt to get that 340k gold back, good luck.

last i heard they no longer return any "hacked" gold from accounts, from numerous posts here and personal experience.

Anyone can confirm they do not return gold from hacked accounts? and any lucky guy that won paypal claim about virtual goods??

same got scammed by the same user.. i think he reversed every payment made...
in my case i have transfered most of the paypal money to my bank account.. loss about 100 usd that was still inside..
still wondering what to do now

anyone with similar experience can share what they did to their paypal account after that? i have the 3 options listed to below given by paypal to resolve the dispute.And also it doesnt let me remove my credit card/bank info from my page now. So if the negative balance isnt settled would they automatically charge my card/bank account and would i get into any legal trouble?

I have shipped the item and I can provide proof that the item was shipped through an approved shipper to the address on the Transaction Details page.

I have not shipped the item and I will refund the payment.

I have refunded the payment for this transaction.

For reasons like that the best option is to use some Stealth PP account.

Also I was sure he cant take refund if he sent it as a gift/services...

Markons he can use hacked paypal accounts and then the real owner say unathorized payment / haccked account..

So basically nothing can be done but to blacklist the IP address if he doesn't use proxy to get around and scam under new forum name.
