SoR account ban wave?

I just lost 3 SoR accounts all at the same time. 2 of them were attached to the same battle.net, and one was on another e-mail. they were all purchased and merged at different times over the last 2-3 weeks, and I was only playing 1 of them. One account had been merged, but didn't even have a scroll of resurection on it yet.

Has anyone else had their SoR's banned recently?

Why SoR acconts are locked?

My guess is, when you merge it with Bnet that you created, it sends 2 emails: one to the original email of the unmerged account and other to your new Bnet email, maybe some old users try to retrive them and as a result accounts get locked (not banned).U have a active bnet with one name, an old acc with other mailing them, since they dont have sure who is using it they lock it till they know who the owner is.

They're definitely closed, not just locked. and the weird thing is typically when you get banned you get an e-mail explaining the reason for the ban, but I didn't get any e-mails. and also all 3 of my SoR's got banned at the exact same time, even though one of them I never even logged into, I just merged it to a new battle.net about a week ago

These SOR accounts you got locked..do you bot..cheat..buy & sell on them? Might be coincidental they're SOR since..that's what everbody does with them ;-)

Alternatively the Chinese may have just made a business out of telling people no no no worries..they're safe..we're sure..when all they ever meant was nothing has happened yet so..no problem..

What I would think is the powers that be have decided to prune some of the illegitimate activity by hunting for the origin of people's accounts..since while you may be merging it into an account in your name..it originally was not & to think they haven't got the ability to check its history since origin is just silly ;-)

I was botting on one account, and I would understand if that got banned. the second account was merged into the same battle.net, and sent a SoR, I made a level 80, but I hadn't played it yet. it was just sitting there for a few days.

The third account is the one that makes me think its a banwave. The third account was merged into a completely different battle.net account which I just created, and I never sent it a scroll, or logged into it other than through battle.net once just to see if it happened to have collectors edition. and that account was also closed at the same time

well, i was botting 4 accounts from my single computer, 3 SOR and 1 original account, and the 3 SoR got banned all same time too lol

All 3 of my recently acquired unmerged accounts were closed approximately 18 hours ago. I still have not received an email to any of those email addresses. These were all on their own separate battle.net and were not played in anyway besides checking inventory, achievements, etc. They were also each merged on seperate days. This appears to be some type of banwave where they are banning first and asking questions later with recently merged accounts. There was even a post on the wow forums saying they got banned around the same time we did, and a blue responded about not being able to transfer accounts (even though the OP said NOTHING about it).

I just got a response to my ticket. Apparently my account got flagged as being accessed by someone unauthorized. So they must be comparing names on the SoR accounts. I'm going to go through the process and fax them my ID and everything. If the GM's compare it to my battle.net then I'm safe, if they compare it to the SoR accounts though I probably won't be able to get them back.

I've bought 3 SoR accs, and 2 of them got banned this after noon(got mail saying abuse of economy)
I did not bot nor used cheat programs, but I've bought RaF + mount on one of the account.

Waiting for GM ticket at a time

According to my buyer, you should only merge one account a day or so, if you don't have static IP. Other wise it will be detected by blizzards automated system.
