SoR account ban wave?

same thing happened to me.
like 2 weeks ago. i bought 5 sor account with real money. and merged them all into 5 different bnet account. 2 days later. all 5 were banned. and not receive an email about it.
so i open all 5 ticket say why account banned?. they say i will need an recovery form and an id to recover it.
so i send in the form and my id. and they unlock one account. but all other 4 say that the name dosen't match the account.
and 1-2 later again. they banned the unlocked sor account again...
i ask why again.
they say it was done in error. etc .etc.


i think blizzard is aware of people buying sor accounts. which is not theirs.
so if ur unlucky they banned u within 48hour and ask for an id.
if ur lucky they will just let it go.


also theres alot of people answers our tickets. some of them are nice and would just say " We'll just accept your id and unlock that wow account" some are very serious. and "hell no" unlocking that account, cause they know that sor account isn't yours.


plus if u go crazy and keeping responding that ticket and have like 10 reponses, some might just get lucky and have a nice person answer ur ticket


tip: u can ask them to unmerge that sor account. but that dosen't un-banned that account

pekko, i think you 2 account might get banned again. and they will say we unlock that wow in error and the id dosen't match and need the orginal owners id.
but you never know.

I got two 72 suspensions Sunday. 1 Sor 1 legit account was botting POS trash. My other Sor account was untouched so i would say it was a SOR banwave but they did hand out some bans thats for sure.

I bought a SoR account and merged it about 24 hours ago to my main battle.net account. I then made my lvl 80 and then transferred it to my main WoW account on the same battle.net. I just got an email 5 minutes ago from Blizzard telling me the account I bought has been locked. My main account is totally fine and I still have my brand new lvl 80.

Honestly, this was the outcome I was expecting. So for anyone who has been wondering if they'd still be allowed to keep their newly boosted toon by transferring it to their non-purchased account before the seemingly inevitable ban, rest assured.

but $35( $25 transfer+$10 sor account) just for a lvl 80 character.. hmm. is it worth it?

oh! and when you transfer that character to ur account. does it transfer all the gold and item too? or limited to how much gold u can transfer?

It holds different worth to different people, so I can't answer that question for you. Luckily I was actually running on some free gametime anyhow so the loss isn't too big of a hit for me. Plus, would you rather not transfer it and have to pay an additional $15 every month to keep the account active?

There are limitations on what can be included in transfers. You can read all about them on Blizzard's site. The character I transferred was a brand new boosted lvl 80 so I only had 75 gold and the greens I had on. Besides, there was nothing on the account I bought besides 3 or 4 level 20-something toons :confused:

if you first get flagged they check if the names on the SoR'ed accounts match your bnet name, if not then byebye account

That's why you merge it to an account with the same last name but different firstname, boost it then transfer the character, Duhh.

Running two SoR accounts botting around 18-20 hours per day, haven't been touched. (EU)

I bought about 4 SoR the last 5 weeks. Used cash and gold. Merged all accounts with different battle.net accounts. No problems so far on EU-severs. Did you get banned on US or EU server?

US Server. never even logged into one of the accounts, just merged it to a brand new battle.net account, and hadn't even sent it a SoR yet, was just hanging onto it in case my other SoR's got banned.
