RMT timespan between offense and possible ban
Hey guys.
I recently sold about 800k gold on WoW.
Being fully aware of the risks involved, I timed it to happen shortly before the prepaid gametime on the account expired (to minimize the amount of wasted money if the ban hammer's coming down).
Three - five days later I remain ban-less, knocking on wood *knock knock*
So my question is, since I'm lacking experience with these things, is there an expected or average timespan between an offense (RMT in this case) and blizzard's reaction?
In other words, how long would it make sense to wait before subbing again?
I'd love to hear your opinions and especially about your own experiences about how long it took Blizz to act and ban/penalize your account after you did something 'naughty'.

The way I sold my gold on my bot accounts, I just whispered the gold seller that I'm quitting and he can have my wealth, then I gave him my gold and logged out, and never bought gametime for that account - I never got banned.
I just bought a new account every 1-2million gold sold, and after a few months I started using the old accounts again.
It's sort of an alibi if you want to call it that.

I'm not a big time gold dealer by any stretch, but have sold about ~600k+ in my lifetime and never had anything happen to my account. I wasn't particularly careful or sneaky or anything either. Last time I sold was probably close to a year ago -- I just reactivated the account recently without a problem.
