Does anyone know if one can be banned for it? Is it detectable? Can they actually detect that one is key repeating, directly by looking at the process or the simple pattern?

It's about only pressing a key down and repeating it, nothing complex.

I assume you are using AutoHotkey mutli-box. If so, then no, you can not be banned for it. The only way you can get banned for multi-boxing is to have automation in there somewhere (for example, a bot pressing the keys for you instead of you pressing them yourself.)
