GM Island

I see in a lot of the videos of people going there when they pass over certain places on the island they get messages liiike..

Entering Area Trigger 1..2 etc

I'm assuming its a count..if you exist within those areas long enough you'll get flagged for being on the island..is that correct?

Anybody been there on Live US 4.3.x & not gotten any trouble for it..not a suspension..nothing at all?

I assume the safety of visiting the island depends on a few factors..

Not having a ticket open for anything..or being investigated for any reason already..

Keeping your fingers crossed no player decides to /who GM Island..who knows if that'd work anyway I certainly don't..& reports you..

If those trigger points are counters..finding dead spots where you aren't going to get flagged..

Is that about the extent of safely visiting GM Island?

As far as i know, the moment server registers you as entering a zone called GM Island, your account instantly gets flagged. Whether or not they will take action against you depends on various factors - i.e. how long you stayed there, was it intentional / glitch / flyhack / etc, etc. But from what i know, they WILL know regardless of what you do (not including the "otherworld" glitch, since its client side only)

I've hacked to GM island on live servers 3-4 times, and showcased it by asking my guild to /who GM island. No penalties whats-so-ever. I'm sure they know but the island isn't really used anymore, and so many users have visited that I doubt most GM's would care unless you stay there for a long period of time or do something stupid like summon other players there.
