why I love wow but hate Blizzard

I had a lvl 20 warrior then I noticed a warning when I entered wow saying trojan game thief detected. I ran a virus scan and it disappeared, but one day later I was banned for selling ingame materials for real world cash. I did not do this and after 1 month of emails back and forward from Blizzard billing they agreed my account had been compromised but it still wasn't reactivated.

During this time I played alot with a new account lvling up 2 warriors to lvl 25 this time I was playing on my mac for security and then BAM. BANNED AGAIN FOR USING BOTS. I wasn't using any bots or even tricky macros I was on a old mac that couldn't use bots anyway. I'm soo pissed off. Blizzard just throws out bans so randomly and often I'm sure I'm not the only one who has been upset by a unfair ban.

If you have been banned for any reason... please vent your frustrations with me. I want to hear about other people who have lost characters they have worked so hard to lvl up.

"Disturbing the Essence of the World of Warcraft Community"?!? WTF does that mean? Where you just spamming trade chat? big deal, so many people do that.

I waited on hold for over an hour to blizzard help line only to be cut off 2mins into speaking to the person.... I'm so aggitated because now they are closed and I have to wait 10 hours to try and call them again.

I will keep you posted if I get my account back.... fingers crossed. And I promiss I will subscribe to mmowned.com to celebrate if I do.

When I first started botting gold--about a month in--I began to think about selling gold to friends and guildies, but was afraid to persue it because it was something that could take my main account away (the only thing had to bot at the time). I talked to my friends about it beforehand and was excited to make some side money. I got home later that day to find out that I was banned! I was quite nervious wondering what I was banned for. I checked the email and it said that they banned me for exchanging in game objects for real life currency. I instantly went to thinking "What the f*ck! How did they know?!" I went to submit a ticket, after calling Blizzard who told me to post one, and it asked for a character to submit the ticket under. I was going to click on one of the toons I bot with when I noticed that there were a few news ones on the list. I was hacked and thats why I was banned. They were trying to sell gold and used my account for that purpose.

I have never been so happy to have been hacked in my life. I got my account back the same day I found out about the banned, and continued to bot later that night. :P
