Help! Glider

Hi,
The other day i suddenly thought hey! i wanna lvl up an UD rogue and a human warlock but then i thought hey! i cant be arsed to get up off my fat ass go to the fridge get some beer then sit down and lvl them!
Now i already have a lvl 70 NE hunter so there is noooo way im gonna glide on that account so i was thinking about gettin a new acc and gliding 2 ppl!
But i just wanted to know is it easy? how come so many people get banned from it (i know some retard used it in shattrath) and mostly what are these "profiles" and how long does it take? I dont want to pay money for both a new acc and a glider if blizz r gona slap a ban sticker across ,y face after the first 10 mins!!

Any ideas?
