If you went to GM Island in Patch 4.3, you are most likely to get banned...
Reason: AreaTriggers

If you use a XYZ hack or get to GM Island somehow and walk around it, you will get notifications like "Area Triggered 1" or "Area Triggered 2"

Most likely, these area triggers send info about your location in GM Island to Blizzard servers and your account gets flagged for further inspection...

Afaik, its literally impossible to, due to there being no map (at all) at a point between kalimdor and GM island.

anyways back on topic: just get there with a hunter or shaman. Far sight / Eagle Eye. plus the items that let you zoom in. just hand out in the water around the island and use far right and eagle eye to explore the island.... if you are REALLY that concerned.
