Favorite expansion and why?

I want to know your opinions on the best WoW-expansion and why?


My favorite is without a doubt WOTLK and why you might ask?
1. Fun raids with lots of progression and fairly hard encounters.
2.Easy farm with daily's,Mining and herbalism
3. Most balanced PVP since vanila (in my opinion)

So what's your favorite expansion and why?

I really liked Burning Crusade, probably because that was, when I was most active. I really enjoyed the implemention of the Arena system, and I like that they continued the attunements from Vanilla, so bad players couldn't be boosted. Wrath of the Lich King is a close 2nd though.
I haven't really enjoyed Cataclysm yet, though I like the revamp of the old world. That's the main thing I like about Cataclysm.
Original WoW was a pain in the ass, really. Took months to level, get your mounts and get your gear. I believe I got my normal mount in lvl 51 or so, and got my epic mount a few months before burning crusade. I was stunned when they wanted you to gather 5000 gold for an epic flying mount, though it showed to be a lot easier there.

Yeah, Vanilla was a bitch lol. In early patches they didn't have enough quests from the 50-60 grind..so you had to farm mobs... a lot of them.
My favorite expansion is a tie between LK and BC. I loved the feel of BC, the feeling of being in refugee haven in a shattered demon world.
With that said I loved LK because of the feel of Dalaran and late night ICC runs.
Cataclysm is meh. Shit's too easy, but I understand why they would want to make it easier since all of the QQing when cata heroics first came out.
But seriously, a heroic boss kill shouldn't take a few weeks, it should take longer, like with HLK, makes it feel more like an achievement.

PwNzM, I really don't get your last sentence.

However, my favourite expansion is BC. Simply because things felt really epic and unique. Everything you did was cool, even the dailies wasn't *THAT* bad. Stuff was difficult, too. If there would've been a heroic-mode setting, the encounters shouldn't be nerfed for the normal mode compared to current normal mode imo. Well, excluding some encounters like in SWP.

bc by far. things were actually a challenge and when you got gear it was actually rewarding. It was when WoW was competetive still, wotlk the pop got a little bigger but that was BECAUSE of bc. bc was when wow was the most fun for me.
