I was writing with a GM about the weapon shadowfang, and then i got him to teleport to me and do some cool stuff xD

I had a GM come to me once too, I had just lost 15.000 gold... he unfortunately couldn't help me... but he wanted to cheer me up instead, so he showed himself to me, did some stuff like that infront of me, morphed me into a few things too.. Finally I asked him to show me cool places in wow, and he teleported me around the entire world!
Was pretty great... Finally he gave me a few items, some rockets and other no-value-items, that I could use just for the fun of it

During TBC while i was leveling my lock, i was questing out in the shimmering flats. the vultures on the northeast side bugged and stopped respawning. i needed them for a quest. i opened a ticket and sat around for an hour or so before getting a GM answer. he forced the corpses to despawn and told me to wait a few minutes. then he said something about being careful standing on that skull (i was on top of the bone pile) and i asked him how he could see me. i was still a newb at the time.

he did a couple of emotes, then picked me up about 500 ft into the air, dropped me, and stopped me from hitting the ground about 15 ft up. them put me down a safe distance from the vultures while they respawned.

it was an amazing time, still one of my favorite experiences in wow. there should be an achievement for getting a GM to spawn in game near you..

I've had a couple experiences with GM's in different games. My most memorable was in UO. I had one of the small 9x9 homes and every spot had a stack of bags piled as high as they could go, filled with loots that I had gotten from an exploit using UOExtreme that allowed me to steal through walls. Anyway, I had a petition in and a Counselor(low level volunteers at the time) popped in to answer my question. If anyone played UO, you know that they popped in on your location and generally took one step away. He crashed and apparently used their out of game chat system to summon another Counselor to his location. Boom, crashed...then they both got a GM, which crashed. So I had these 2 red robes and a blue robe standing there in my house.

Eventually the GM got back on and transported the Counselors out of the house. Then the GM started asking wtf I was doing and I simply said I was a horder, lol, despite my huge collection of boats, house deeds, and house keys =)

What was cool though, was this was around the time of the black dye tubs and the GM asked me how my robes were black and I showed him a black dye tub. I didn't know that a hack was used to make them, he didn't seem to care that I had one, but he did warn me that other GM's had banned people for wearing black. I laughed and asked him if he had a dress code in mind I should follow and he gave me a neon pink robe before the neon dye tubs even existed.

The next was in EQ. During a raid on Zlandicar or some other dragon, we had a server first kill and a GM had apparently been spying on us. He came down and did some wicked stuff, transformed us all into ogre sized gnomes and generally had a lot of fun. Problem? He poofed our dragon kill before loot was fully given out....as an apology, he respawned the dragon and we killed it again, but super buffed. It was like night and day...my tank had unbelievable haste and was swinging his one hand spears like a Cuisinart. Took only a few minutes to down what was a 20 minute fight previously. So not only did we get 2 kills, but we got an extra key for the Sleeper (the first kill the Guild Master got the key, next I think my sister's druid got it).

The GM started stalking us, and I and a few others in Blades eventually became pretty good friends with him. He would pop in and say hey and stand around verbally taunting us when we wiped. Good times. Good times.

Enough rambling...not even WoW related, but those are my GM tales.
