Refunding for valor over maintenance?

Hi guys,

With patch 4.1 valor is going to be turned to justice and all current valor items go onto the justice vendor with new stuff going up for valor.

Im interested if anybody has experience with buying an item before maintenance, andthen refunding it after maintenace, meaning you could stockpile valor up for the next patch.
