Just got 72 Hour Suspension/Final Warning on my Cataclysm/SC II account.



Do they disable the entire account or just WoW Auth?

Alright guys let me give you a few things I found out about this volcano thing. Its more of a threat than anything. its not like you get 7 bans and you're done. Its like 7 times you break a rule one section which is literary impossible for example iif you get banned for harassment 7 times you're done, but if you get banned for scamming once, harassment once, naming policy once, harassment again, scamming again. You would be step 2 on the volcano for harassment and step 2 for scamming but only on step one for naming policy. I know this for a fact ive been banned many many times and ive discussed this with a GM. Also I left out that depending what you do the time being banned can change...for example if you say you are gonna kill somebody you will prolly get a 72 hour ban but because it was your first ban it will still be considered a warning.

well if u get caught botting its a 72hr, 2nd time its a perm

unless they can prove it 100% first time it goes straight to perm (warden)

I've got suspended for hacking about 5 times every time it was a 72 Hour suspension never a warning or 3 hour ban. Next it was saying "Jews should die" in trade and I got a Final warning the other day.

It doesn't matter what you do they can suspended you however they feel fit, It all depends on if they are going by Memory checks, Or they see you commiting the crime, Or they got to many tickets on you.

You are mostly correct. I have received 3 warnings, 2 "3-hour bans", and 3 "24-hour bans" all for dropping the f-bomb. (lol, don't some people use a language filter...?)
I have also received 3 "3-hour bans" for spamming. I have never received a 72-hour or a final warning.
To receive a 72-hour ban or a final warning from doing stuff other than botting or hacking is nearly impossible. You have to have over 10 violations in one month. (Not sure about the over 10 violations in one month part, my guess)

I have heard stories though about people getting 72 hours, final warnings, and account closures for the same stuff I did. Blizzard can (but probably wont) ban you whenever they want.
IN CONCLUSION: The account banning policy may be strange and you can probably get banned for anything.
