WoW + BC w/o Key = Fail?

Hey,
I have the WoW Client from the Blizzard site and a Burning Crusade installation.
If I install only WoW, it is Version like 3.0.1 and I can play (on private servers ofc )and patch upwards.

If I try to install BC, WoW turns to Version 2.0.0 and I can't run any patch, even though it says 2.0.x to 2.3 enUS (my version).

It gives me a error message like Md5 fail.

Which patch can I use when I have v2.0.0 after installing BC?

Rly? So do I have Wotlk also with V 3.3.5?
Because It says "Burning Crusade is required if you want to go to this area bla bla bla..."
Could this be because of the AccountFlags in the Private Servers?
Because I only checked WoW Classic, not BC or WOTLK?

EDIT: Ok, left it at 3.3.5a and checked TBC and WOTLK, but if I try to login it says "Patch required" and if I click restart the blizzard downloader for v4 opens
