Starting a new WoW account, anonymously?

So I got reported on my main account for speed hacking. This happened whilst farming stranglekelp for my free action potions. (Swimming is tedious)

Since everyone's leveling new characters in 4.0.3a I sped right past one. And he was quick enough to /who my name.

Anyhoo, I was thinking about starting a new account to be a bit reckless on for laughs whilst I wait for my old one to either get banned or become safe to use again.

How can I avoid having a connection between these accounts? Will using a VPN, different credit card and a dummy name be enough? I guess what I'm really worried about is the VPN, will such a service really make me untraceable even whilst playing games like WoW?

I have always used the same info on all my accounts, when 1 gets banned, the others have not. I do not think you need to go through a lot of hiding procedures unless you are botting.

Blizzard wouldnt ban other account because of the same name ,i make loads of trail accounts on the same bnet as my main which have been banned for loads of things

if its playing legitly, RAF it to your main and level them both together. 1 report shouldn't ban you. you can also play it off as "lag"

But they won't cascade ban a b.net acct b/c wow1 was hacking. although they may consider looking at other account activities (hearsay)
