[Request] Turn off shadows?

Is there a way to turn off shadows or reduce them to the circles they were pre-4.0?

Just turn it all the way down?

Doing that still causes an obscene amount of lag. It is on low.

Maybe time for a new computer? Turning of shadows should increase your FPS massively. I don't think there is another legit way to disable the shadows more than doing it in the actuall game settings, so live with it or just buy a new comp

Meh my PC can take the game on ultra, I just wish I could have my laptop for college in between classes. =\ I looked for the folder that contained game settings but it's not where it used to be so I can't mess with game settings beyond their in game settings. =( If I had a job I'd totally use the money to get Alienware or something like that. =\
