[Cataclysm] Cataclysm Release Date Confirmed

UPDATE: Blizzard recently announced that this is the correct date of December 7th! Official Link is found here! http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/catac...leasedate.html

Taken from MMO-Champion, original post is found: MMO-Champion - Cataclysm Beta - Build 13117

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Cataclysm Release Date - December 7th
Season 9 starts on December 14th, a blue post stated that Cataclysm would be released one week earlier.

+ARENA_MASTER_NO_SEASON_TEXT = "Arena battles and Rated Battlegrounds are only available during an active player versus player combat season. Season nine will begin on December 14th, so be prepared at that time to take your shot at glory!";
Originally Posted by Zarhym (Source)
The next Arena Season will begin for level-85 players approximately one week after the official launch of World of Warcraft: Cataclysm.
EDIT: It seems that Mekkatorque knew all along! So that's why Gnomeregan was never taken back completely, Deathwing messed with the outcome! 12.7% efficiency!

Source on this found here
Thx to xsx for that

I thought this was pretty big news so I thought I should post this! I take no credit for the information gathered!

Looks like both MMO Champ's date of the 2nd and our date of the 18th were off by a month. Cheers!

Generally calling bull, blizzard can change when they release arena seasons and I bet they will. The official date should be announced October 22th, via what my very very reliable sources tell me.

Maybe your sources are talking about patch 4.0.1 which isn't Cataclysm?
