BG AFKing

Ive heard of temporary bans for this but has anyone ever heard of anyone being permanently banned for bg afking alone. I can find no evidence of it but was curious all the same.

thats what ive been doing but im now thinking of running another box and doing it that way should a gm whisper me i can reply, am i right in thinking your not forced to fight in the bg you just have to be there?

Anyone ever been permanently banned or heard of it.

Been using a simple "bot" during BG's on my Macbook for about a year, still haven't been banned once even though I still get the occasional people marking me as afk <.<

Yeah that is right.My noob friend got banned for 3 hours and from the email he didn't understand why he was banned for,but when he asked a GM he told him that he was being AFK in BGs,and he doesn't even bot :S .
