You can go inside a building, swim in the water, and..... well that's about it. It's really not that cool to see once you've been there before.

You can do just a /who gm and find any GM that is on, or anyone on GM Island... but only GM's can make it to GMI on a blizz server atm.

I had a GM on my friends list. Say a NE in the starter area but they didn't have the <GM>, but they had the game master robe and stuff and after that it said they where on GM island.

GMs are not always hidden. Seeing them is not a bug. I once had one on my friends list.

I paged a GM on my horde toon. Got a responce. Did a /who on the name, said player not found. Then I tried adding him and it said he had to be the same faction. So I mad an alliance and it let me add him. Said he was on GM Island. He was a 60 NE Druid.

This was ages ago though.

The person in that pic, the level 1 on GM island, is not a GM. Just someoen who found out how to get to GM island on live and it is possible.

1. No, its not a GM, they would have <GM> next to their name, i can give you a pick of that if you dont believe that.

2. It was instance a long long long loooong time ago, I got there in 2.0.5 or soemthing and people have gotten then many times before and after that.

3. Its not an exploration thread, theyre not going anywhere, just seeing someone who has.

SO please, stop with these dumb replies.

Oh it's not an instance anymore? Then please, show us a video of you getting there on a live server patch 2.1.3. Even if you got to GM island you would be banned. Any GMs can uncloak themselves so they don't have the <GM> next to their name.
