Am I putting my main wow account in jeopardy if I bot with another

I've decided to come back to WoW and I've got a spare WoW account that I plan to bot on, since I transferred all its old characters to my main account and thus currently have no use for it.

I've linked it to my Battle net account, however, and I plan to bot heavily with it, so it wouldn't be too surprising to see it receive a permanent ban. Since this WoW account would be linked to my main and bot-clean account, is there a possibility that Blizzard would ban me on my main account as well?

They don't usually, but there is a possibility if you're using the same credit card for both accounts.

However, if you bot and then send stuff to your main account, there's a risk.

Make a gbank and advertise as a leveling guild, get a few people in it and you should be able to share between your accounts more easily. If it's just a gbank with only your characters it will be more likely to ban them all, then if there are multiple accounts attached.

Just buy a few bank tabs and give just yourself access to 1 ore more and restrict access to the gold in the gbank, should keep your botting safer anyways.

Edit - Make the gbank with a toon on the account you want to keep safe so you don't lose access to the gbank.
