World of Warcraft - Cataclysm #12319 (Installers, Sandboxes, Tutorials, Patches..)

When I try to patch I always get this message:

Launcher requires write permission to the C:\Program Files/World of Warcraft Beta\ directory to successfully patch the game. Please enable write access to the directory using an administrator account.

I don't understand what they mean...
Tried to run it as an administrator but then nothing happens.

When I open it normally it always returns to patchin patch 1 :s

Anyone has idea?

Well somehow it got fixed and I completely patched everything.

The only problem is I can't login, tried with random loginname+pass and also tried nopass :s

The lag does not come from the sandbox, it's the client. The previous build had some serious problems with the graphics which caused the client to freeze and/or crash. It got fixed for now, but it is very clear that Blizzard is tuning the graphics.

I do seem to lag a little bit more than I did with the first SandBox they released though.

Hi there,

I downloaded the Tom sandbox and tried to set my realmlist to local host.
But how do you do this? Just type 127.0.0.1 in the realmlist.wtf???

Tried to look up for info on the net but no one really asked for the same

How can one use spells and stuff?

@Eyvan : Sandbox means just looking around the world. So no spells, no NPCs, etc.

Whenever i try to log in, it says i do not have WotLK data on my computer (which i do). This happens for both Tom_Rus and Wowcore clients (i tried both). Does anyone else have this issue? And does anyone know how to fix it?

How can I fix this? It says I cant connect.

Hey, the same thing happened to me but i then realized i was running 2 at the same time. Check to make sure you don't have multiple of the same sandbox running simotaneously.

i changed the realmlist.wtf file so now i can't patch what's the content of it?

Delete the realmlist.wtf file(but keep it in the rubbish bin) or cut the realmlist.wtf and put it somewhere out from the WoW beta folder, then patch the game. When patch is done, put back the realmlist.wtf where it was(but maybe the patch create that file again, I don't know, you'll see when patch is done)
