    Downpatching 3.3.2 --> 1.12

So this might sound weird.. But I want to play a 1.12 private server.. BUT! I copied my WoW directory to another folder location

So I have got one in C:\Program files\World of warcraft

and one in C:\World of Warcraft

When I launch the launcher in "C:\World of Warcraft" it launches my launcher from the folder "C:\Program files\World of warcraft" wich is currently 3.3.2

But the patches in my "C:\World of Warcraft" are not higher than 3.3.0 but still it launches the 3.3.2 one :/µ

So I was wondering if I deleted all the patches in my "C:\World of Warcraft"
and run a repair would it get me to 1.x?

Or what should I do? I really want a 1.12 server

I know a site where I can download the 1.12 patch so pasting it in my "C:\World of Warcraft" folder would clear it? I really need a good solution

    -Thanks in advance, Ascelyn

it still launches the other one because the registry entries still point to that other one.
if you delete the patch.mpq in C:\World of Warcraft it would just reset it to the last mayor version (in this case 3.3) when running repair

when you want a 1.12 client you'll need to install via the cd's or download a 1.12 wow
Zomfg. And no, don't ask. - Dombo did it.

Then remove WoW From registry.... (And don't open WoW before you are installing 1.12!)
    Then it won't say that

So completely remove WoW + run a registery cleaner? :/ That means when I want to play WoW at the normal patch (3.3.2) I have to run all the patches again :/ My plan was to have a folder with a 1.12 server and a folder with a 3.3.2 server x)

I dont even know whether that's possible tho

Anyone? I would like to have 2 folders, 1 for 3.3.2 and one for 1.12. Is this possible and how do I do it?

I think that will do the trick. He does say you remove it from registry, not remove WoW completely.

    C:\Programs\WoW

    Copy to C:\WoW

C:\WoW is where you will play regular 3.3.2

    Uninstall C:\Programs\WoW

And remove from registry (Maybe done automatically?)

Then reinstall WoW with discs.. Something like this should be the thing to do.. :/
I think I will do this aswell, as preTBC is the one and only (:
