Question about RAF

First of all, I wouldve asked this is the shuot box but mmowed is being HORRIBLY laggy so it wont even work.

If I start a fresh vanilla WoW account, can I recruit a friend right away, or is there a hidden requirement as far as time or level 80s or something?

If you've got a friend/you with a subscribed and activated account to "recruit" you to upgrade a trial account to a real account, then yes, you can use RAF.

no, its just me starting a fresh account with nobody refering me, and i want to recruit my friend for 3x xp. Will it work? i didnt fully understand your post

You can RAF right from the start

yes you can start right away just as you wish to do, I also did this with a friend we both had new CD keys and I linked to him right after he activated his account. Just if you didn't know only the account that is the main account (the one who recruited you, or if you recruited him) is the only one who can be granted free lvls, you only get one lvl per every two that you lvl together so two lvl 60 accounts would award you one free lvl 60 granted character and it only works if the toon that is granting the lvls is higher lvl then the toon receiving the lvls.
