Big big problem. (With Battle.net)

Heya everyone. I just got four emails at 2:00 AM my time saying that someone reset my Battle.net account password and tried to transfer my rogue off of the account, AND added an authenticator to the account. So umm... I got pwned huh? Can I get my account back? (On the phone in a one hour queue right now.) I would appreciate any and all reassurence or help!

Probably a scam, take a SS of the email and sender and put it here so we can see.

It's not a scam, when I try to log in it asks me for an authenticator now, and I never added one to my account. so am I boned? Or is it still possible to get my account back?

On the phone as we speak, still waiting in the queue. They should be able to get my account back to me with all of my toons if they were deleted right? I had two toons in the new icc 25 gear and now poof...

Blizzard Caches Game Data, for about a couple months at max. In actual reality your character doesnt take up a whole lot of room.

So they can restore deleted characters yes, but most likely it will be used to gold sell or spam.

Well so far I know all of my crud was deleted/sharded. Both of my characters are alive and around though. Still on the darn phone waiting for them XD

A guildie of mine actually had this very same thing happen to him.


But they royally screwed him over, deleted ALL of his characters except the one that had mining.

He got his account back the day after the holidays so the day after christmas (It happened right before xmas eve).

You can get everything back, it just takes awhile and its a bit of a grueling process. Be prepared to ticket gm's more then once and maybe send emails. It might take a week or so but yeah you'll get everything back
