Level 80 from botting, now what?

well since, most servers are going with gearscore now of course you gonna get kicked, people wanted fast runs, you run a bot to 80, do u have a clue on how to play paladin without it being automated.

and buying BoE gear off AH isnt gonna help,doing normal dungeons and gear up that way, learn to gem your gear, and dont buy pvp gear, its for pvp not PvE resilience means shit in pve.

I've been in the exact same situation when i just got one of my recent alt's leveled up, its a sucky position to stand in, and thats just how it is.

First: Even after so long time, there's still the "noob" guilds which are just there for fun, you should try to get into one of these, as they often grind normal dungeons, heroics and stuff like that, you should probably also be able to get into a guild that does some naxx 10 and 25 stuffs. You'll get rejected loads of time, but thats how it is now a days, just keep going, and try to find a nice guild.

Second: The only way forward is to work hard for it mate, there is no easy way anymore if you havent already gotten a levle 80 on the server with full tier 9 and the best guild on the server, so people know you have skills. You will have to grind heroics and normals in the start, go to Wowhead or get the addon AtlasLoot (link: Atlasloot Enhanced - Addons - Curse ) and check through ever NORMAL instance, where you could probably need any items, write them down, and grind them! As you are level 80 the normals should not be a problem to get in, as its only low levelers wanting to get their quests done in there, or maybe other not so good geared 80's wanting to go to them.

Third: After you have gotten all possible normal gear, you need to do heroics. As i said before, youll get rejected because of the new gearscore system, so what the heck, start your own groups? When i play on my shaman which has some of the best gear i can get so far, i often boost full green/blue geared peoples, the only thing you need is an imba healer and a decent tank. If you make the group yourself, you might end up in someone leaving, youll have to deal with it, you can also just try to hope that some people will take you inside their group, despite your gear.

Four: When you get into heroic, be the funny guy. Get loads of friends, so they can help you again, or even help you get into naxx 10! it's very important if you can get a lot of friends, also to have fun with ofcourse, but they can really get you into some groups, so you can get some gear. It helps a lot as far as i know when you gearing up. Try not to be a jerk, even if it is just a heroic, do your best at all times, so people wanna run with you again, and ofcourse you really should know what all bosses does, so your not the noob asking "Ehmm.. how do i do this exactly?" you should be the pro, who tells them how you do it And for gods sake, do not fail, you will probably get kicked immediatly.

Five: If you got the gold, spend them. Buy every possible BoE (Bind on Equip) item possible, preferabbly the BS weapon (Titansteel Destroyer - Item - World of Warcraft) and all other craft made, or boe items. If you have enough gold to get them, you might as well spend them now, it will make the process a lot faster. Remember to get the heroic daily done EVERY DAY! Even with the gear you got, i believe that you can get into the daily heroic, as so many people does it, and some dont give a shit

Six: Every emblem you get you MUST use on items. It's a smart idea to go for the tiers first. if people see you with any tier item they can think that your gear is better than it really is, because of the looks :b Its a cheeky way, and tbh, the tiers are the coolest items, and you get some nice set bonuses, and looks. Do not spend any emblems on stupid stuff like runed orbs, or crusader orbs, its not going to be worth it. When you have gotten all possible items which you can use from Emblem of Conquest, look at what items you can get from Valor (Downgraded Conquest) and the Heroism (Downgraded Valor) some of the items there can also be useful.

Seven: This is just a little suggestion, you dont have to do it, but if you dont really know so much about your class, i suggest you read this: http://elitistjerks.com/f47/t49865-p...tribution_pve/ You dont have to read the whole guide, because its a lot of Theorycrafting (how to maximize your dps with the best gear avaible) just read what you think is necessary, and there is also a few addons which can be used for paladins. (REMEMBER TO GET PALLYPOWER OR YOU WILL GET KILLED! ;b)

Ill tell you this one thing, nothing thats worth having comes easy. You have to work for the stuff that is valuable, therefore, botting = nono... Anywaysm since you are allready in this mess, just bot till you got alot of gold, sell it and buy a new account with gear? lol?11

My opinion? Farm Honor, go back and do quests and get rep with the factions and get that gear. While you quest you can save more gold and buy gear from the AH.

Don't you have friends on the server your playing on? They should be willing to help you out in getting geared.

I do like this with every char I get to 80: Farm normal ToC until you get everything you need from there (there are always people kind enough to go there with other, undergeared people). Then go every single heroic till you got enough badges for tier 8 or a good off-set epic. Then there should be no problems to continue doing heroics and then VoA/Naxx.

And you said you have like 2kG. Make a BS craft something good for you.

wow, seriously, raids actively using GearScore must suck. I've never heard of anyone using it on my realm though. and of course you can get fast runs with undergeared people cuz gear doesn't really matter for heroics(of course casters will get more dps with worse gear than melees).

Do a bunch of heroics. It's very easy to get geared from heroics now, then just work your way up through the raids in order.

Also people ask for gearscore or ignore and achievement or ignore. ITS SO ANNOYING... You have to have good gear to get good gear.

Go get a friendly guild that lets you join totc normal for a while, after that go on to totc HC or other HCs with guild... cant be hard to find a friendly guild

I botted my hunter up from 1-80 and i had no problem getting into a group...all i did was just chill, bought all the boe's i could from the AH, had some honor gear, and farmed reg toc and heroics, was ezmode... the hard part is gettingall ur flight paths

People are booting you from heroic groups? That's a bit funny.

Use the LFG tool and queue for random dungeons, I doubt you'd be kicked by a group of strangers that probably couldn't care less.

I recommend getting some achievements, since it is pretty obvious to anyone who wants to compare achievements that you botted it all the way... or you just love grinding.
